Kotouttaminen luistelun avulla

ETK has gotten funding for multicultural ice skating groups from the Administrative of Education and Culture. The spring course is now full!

Aikuisluistelu
Espoon Taitoluisteluklubi (ETK) starts two new multicultural beginner-level groups for 4-10 year old children. The groups are for children who are participating in Skating School for the first time. The groups are funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture.


The practices are held in Matinkylä practice rink on Saturdays at 11.20-12.00
Group for 4-6 year old children
Group for 7-10 year old children

Address: Matinkylä Practise Rink, Matinkartanontie 3, 02230 Espoo.

First practices of the spring season will be held on Saturday 11.1. and the practices continue untill 22.3. There are no practices during the winter holiday (22.2.).

This skating course is free of charge.

What to wear
We offer skates and helmets for all participants to borrow during the practices (use of own gear is possible).
A skater should have their own warm and flexible clothes and gloves. A thin beanie or a headband can be worn under the helmet.

All the participants are insured for the ice practices by Pohjola Vakuutus.

Project is funded by Administrative of Education and Culture. Our groups implement the following sub-goals defined by AEC

  • Increasing the number and/or groups of children and youngsters in a sports club
  • Promote equal and accessible physical activity opportunities
  • Support sports acticities for children and young people from low-income families
  • Promote the integration of immigrant children through excercise
